ABOUT MC MAGIC
THE MAN WHO
NEVER SIGNED.
INDEPENDENT. SELF-MADE. STILL MOVING.
MC Magic built his career outside the traditional label system, creating music for a community he felt the industry was overlooking. What began in a small home studio in the early 1990s became Nastyboy Records, a catalog, a live career, and the world fans know as Magic City.

THE BEGINNING
THE LIL RECORD LABEL
THAT COULD.
In 1990, MC Magic founded Nastyboy Records as a way to release the music he was creating in his own studio. He believed his community was being overlooked by record companies, radio and media, so instead of waiting for permission, he built his own path. In 1995, Nastyboy released its first full CD, “Don’t Worry,” featuring “Lost In Love.”

THE WORK
BUILT FROM
THE MUSIC OUT.
Long before the store, the campaigns, and the next generation of drops, the work started with songs. That independence still shapes the way MC Magic moves today — recording, performing, releasing through Nastyboy Records, and keeping the relationship with fans direct.
THE LEGACY
THE SOUND
BECAME
A WORLD.
Magic City helped establish a visual and emotional language fans still recognize: chrome, roses, hand-drawn lettering, stage light and romance. That history is not being replaced in this next chapter — it is being treated with more space, more restraint, and the confidence of a catalog that has lasted.
THE CONNECTION
THE PEOPLE WERE
ALWAYS THE POINT.
The relationship has always been direct: songs passed from person to person, live rooms filled with fans, an online store that has been running since 2003, and personalized Magic Custom Songs that still carry the spirit of MC Magic’s early Swap Meet days.
